My Scary Dream by Aaliyah Avilez (7th Grader)

One sunny day at school, Dean was listening to our teacher Miss Emily. Then he heard a weird noise and I felt a strong breeze but thought nothing of it. When the school day ended he headed straight home. As soon as Dean arrived home, he took a shower and then lay down to take a nap.

As soon as Dean closed his eyes, a big bulldog was chasing him into the woods and a bunch of ghosts appeared in front of him. He screamed, “AAAHHH!!!”

Suddenly, Dean woke up and saw his little sister playing in my room. He got really mad and told her to get out. She ran out giggling. Dean got up and went into the kitchen for a drink of water. While drinking, he heard the weird noise he had heard earlier in class. He felt really scared but he couldn’t resist falling asleep, so he went back to bed. When he woke up, it was already morning. He was so happy and relieved. However, every night Dean is scared that he'll hear that weird noise.
